You found a place, did your research and painstakingly planned your itinerary.  Now, what’s next?  Jump on the plane and head for Timbuktu!  Not so fast. You need to do a bit of planning to make your trip more enjoyable. We’ve listed 11 must-have travel possessions you should bring anywhere you go!
1. Money
It’s useful when you need to buy souvenirs, food trips or when you’d like to try anything new.  Consider that entrance fees and rentals are standards when you go out and lack the necessary equipments during your adventure.  Remember, you can’t always expect ATMs near beaches or in mountains. Bring enough to make your life easier.


2.  Maps or Travel Guides
You are not a human-map to know every single place on your travel spot.  Remember that when emergency arise, you should know where you are and where to go.  Don’t get lost! 

3.First Aid Kit & Medications
This is useful when something unexpected happens! Though you should be optimistic enough that things will go your way, bringing one won’t hurt.  Your first aid kit might help anyone in need.  It may be someone from your network or outside of it.

4. Clothes
Bring the right clothing. In the tropical island of the Philippines, it is advisable to wear something comfortable and light.  It should be something that fits your itinerary and activities. During your fun, you probably sweat when you do something out of the ordinary. You may not know when you need one so remember to bring extra!

5.  Footwear

You can bring a big scary knife, a bottle opener or you can bring something all in one? Bring a Swiss knife! It’s a handy invention made for everyone to make activities more convenient to travelers and it can even be use for self-defense!

9.  Hygiene Products
Napkins, a must have especially for women. You don’t want to ruin your day by unexpected circumstances!  While the Philippines enjoy a lot of good travel spots, running water in some areas can still be a problem.  A handy thing to have in this instance would be wipes and hand sanitizers. 

10.  Bottled Water
Travelers experience varying conditions as you try to go from one place to another.  And the thrill and adventure that travel brings, water is a commonly neglected item to bring.  It can save you a lot of trouble by drinking enough of this stuff.  Energy drinks offers a good source of electrolyte and might be a life savior in some instances of severe dehydration.

Tourist spots are riddled with food stalls.  But let’s admit it, there have been times that hunger pangs happen in the unlikeliest of places.  A protein bar is a handy thing to being just in case.  Aside from being handy, protein bars offers some major, major relief to two of the most horrifying food experience a traveler would have:  price and food choices!

Ideally, we tend to change activities and add something different in the final itinerary.
